Splot Quartet

The ensemble was formed in 2019 by four graduates of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Winners of competitions, participants of prestigious festivals and members of leading Polish orchestras met on the occasion of another music project, and since then the decision not to part was clear to each of them. They perform in less obvious spaces, such as Otwarta Pracownia Jazdów in Warsaw, the Book Art Museum in Łódź or the well-known Cheder cafe in Kazimierz, Kraków. They also appear in typical concerthalls, such as National Philharmonic. After longer break caused by the pandemic, also thanks to the help of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Polish Consulate, in 2022 the ensemble resumed its activity with a series of concerts during the 25th edition of the iPalpiti festival in Los Angeles, including the UCLA Library. Regardless of the circumstances and places, their musical meetings always have two priorities: the joy of playing together and spreading passion for music.
