The ensemble was founded in the spring of 2019 by three musicians brought together by a common desire to explore a vast trio repertoire. In September of the same year, they joined the Concertist cycle of the Paris CRR in Trio Wanderer’s class, and at the same time followed the chamber music lessons of Claire Désert and Ami Flammer. Having obtained their bachelor’s degree, they are now continuing their training in the Master’s programme in chamber music. The trio has also benefited from the precious advice of the Modigliani and Diotima quartets, as well as from other master classes with outstanding chamber musicians such as Emmanuel Strosser, Olivier Charlier and Lise Berthaud. In 2020, the ensemble was invited to the International Piano Festival of La Roque d’Anthéron as an ensemble in residence. The artists also performed at the Pianissimes du Musée Guimet as part of a of the series dedicated to young artists, ‘Carte blanche aux nouveaux talents’. In 2022, the Nebelmeer trio was a guest at the European Jeunes Talents Festival in Paris. With the support of the City and Theatre of Caen the ensemble recently recorded its first album of French romantic music for the Mirare label, to be released in the summer of 2022.
