La Folle Journée “Beethoven” 2021 – changes in the Festival’s schedule
After a year of separation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the La Folle Journée Festival returns to Warsaw for its eleventh edition! Since we are committed to the safety of our audience members, artists, and staff, this year’s edition looks a bit different. More smaller ensembles are included in the program, and 32 concerts are divided among seven stages over four festival days. The Festival will be a little less intense, but still loaded with energy!
La Folle Journée returns to Warsaw!
The 11th edition of the La Folle Journée Festival revolves around Ludwig van Beethoven, whose 250th birthday we celebrated last year. The last weekend of September (23–26 September) will be filled with concerts held from morning till night featuring the composer’s orchestral and chamber works and pieces inspired by him.
Press conference before La Folle Journée
A press conference on this year’s 11th edition of La Folle Journée “Beethoven” was held on 25 August. The organizers – Sinfonia Varsovia, the Teatr Wielki – National Opera, and CRÉA – announced the Festival’s program. They also talked about the changes in its schedule.
