In her work, she focuses primarily on timbre, reaching for unusual combinations, such as the juxtaposition of harp and piano in Smugi cienia (The Shadow Line) or soprano and baritone saxophone with electronics in Argument snu (The Argument of Sleep). She is the winner of the 1st prize in the 56th Tadeusz Baird Competition for Young Composers and a beneficiary of the “Music of Our Times” program, under which selected works were recorded by DUX and the scores were published by the Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne (Polish Music Publishing House). In 2020, she completed an artistic residency in Iceland (which was organized by Agata Zubel and Michał Moc).
The composer’s works have been performed in the USA, Norway, Denmark, Spain, France, Israel, Germany, and Poland, notably at Warsaw Autumn, Sacrum Profanum, WarszeMuzik, Festival Mixtur (Barcelona), ManiFeste (Paris), Pulsar Festival (Copenhagen), at the Warsaw Philharmonic, Nowy Teatr, The Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music, by Ensemble intercontemporain, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR), Hashtag Ensemble, Esbjerg Ensemble, Ania Karpowicz, and Kebyart.
In 2019-2021, she was the manager of Hashtag Ensemble. She worked on the production of such events as the Kwartesencja Festival (Royal String Quartet) and the Kwadrofonik Festival. On behalf of the National Centre for Culture, she coordinated, among others, Leszek Możdżer’s concert at the Planetarium of the Copernicus Science Centre and Sławek Jaskułke’s “Europa 67/21” project (concert at Polish Radio and album release). Since 2022, she has been a Vice-Chair of the Classical Music Section of the Polish Society of Authors and Composers (ZAiKS).
A graduate of Italian Studies at the University of Warsaw and composition and postgraduate studies in Music Management at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She also studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus in the class of Simon Steen-Andersen and Niels Rønsholdt, as well as culture production, journalism, and multimedia at LUMSA University in Rome.
