Emilia Pęgier

At the age of six, she began learning to play the violin at the Karol Kurpiński State Music School No. 4 in Warsaw in the class of Anna Barańska-Wróblewska. Currently, she is a final-year student at the Józef Elsner State Music School No. 2 in Warsaw in the class of Agnieszka Cypryk. From the start of her musical education, she has taken part in numerous music courses and masterclasses, including those in Juchów, Nałęczów, Puławy, and Bałoszyce, working with Prof. Magdalena Rezler, Prof. Łukasz Błaszczyk, Dr Mariusz Patyra, and Prof. Monika Urbaniak-Lisik. She has also won numerous awards in competitions, both in chamber music (Dolny Kubin, Sierpc, Sochaczew, Kraków) and solo performance. Some of her recent achievements include: the 2nd prize in the 2nd International Gloria Artis Music Competition (Vienna 2022); the 3rd prize in the 4th Wanda Wiłkomirska Violin Competition of Polish Music (Częstochowa 2022); and the 4th prize in the 5th National Jadwiga Kaliszewska Violin Competition (Poznań 2022). Emilia’s achievements also include numerous performances in annual concerts at the Music School No. 1 in Warsaw (accompanied by piano or orchestra), the Jurassic Musical Autumn Festival in Częstochowa, and as part of the PoPołudnik Muzyki concert series at the Stara Prochownia Gallery in Warsaw.
