Jagoda Brajewska

Jagoda Brajewska is a graduate of the Faculty of Conducting, Composition and Music Theory at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where she studied symphonic and operatic conducting under Professor Elżbieta Wiesztordt-Sulecińska, completing her degree in 2018. Throughout her studies, she was awarded the Rector’s Scholarship for the Academy’s best students every year.

She is currently engaged at Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, where she conducts opera, operetta, musical theatre and ballet productions. She has served as music director for two productions: Alice in Wonderland by Przemysław Zych, choreographed and staged by Robert Bondara (2022), and Pergolesi’s La serva padrona, directed by Jerzy Jan Połoński (2024).

During the 2020/2021 artistic season, she was conductor-in-residence with the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot as part of the “Conductor-in-Residence” programme organised by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
